We have an exciting opportunity to join our national Defined Contribution DC Consulting team as a
DC Pensions Consultant
, where you'll work alongside senior consultants supporting some of the UK's largest employers and most forward-thinking DC schemes.

The Role
Assisting lead consultants to deliver advice to employers and trustees in relation to their DC schemes and wider savings plans covering a multitude of areas including: scheme design, investment strategy, communications, retirement support, provider selection, governance and compliance.
Researching for and drafting advice and technical papers for review by senior colleagues
Attending client meetings, in a supporting role
Maintaining client records and systems
Managing small discrete projects for clients from scoping through to delivery
Contributing to internal client and colleague related specialist groups covering key DC issues or colleague development groups.
Supporting and training junior colleagues
Supporting with all elements of client management e.g. billing, budget tracking etc.
Qualifications

The Requirements
Good knowledge in (Defined Contributions) DC pensions and experience gained in a consulting, provider or administration role
Working towards or willing to sit relevant professional exams e.g. PMI, CII, IMC etc
Must be proactive, inquisitive and organised with excellent project management and relationship skills
Highly detail oriented with good communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team but also independently
Willing to learn and 'muck in' to exceed client and colleague expectations
Able to work efficiently within budgets without jeopardising quality of work.
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel would be advantageous but not essential
