Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Dealership Accountant to work as part of a friendly, well established and professional Team within the Mon Motors Group.

The successful candidate will be based at and responsible for our Gloucester Volkswagen and Cupra site along with our Gloucester Skoda site.

Key Responsibilities

Production of management accounts for dealership sites Full monthly reconciliation of the balance sheet Support non finance managers in the business Support the central accounts team To assist in the maintenance of the Kerridge system and to ensure full compliance with Group accounting standards. To assist in the preparation of files and returns for both internal and external auditors as required.

Person Specification

Have excellent communication skills Must have two years previous experience of working for a Main dealer automotive franchise Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Be competent in the use of Kerridge rev8 You will be self-motivated, organised, analytical and be deadline driven. Experience in the use of Kerridge is desirable, and you should be able to use all Microsoft packages. Accountancy qualifications AAT/CIMA/ACCA is desirable. Experience using Keyloop is desirable The role will involve travel to our other locations and sites around the Group, so full driving licence is essential.
