Working in our accounts department as a Dealership Accountant you will be a key part of the Retail Centre. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills.

What you'll do day to day

Prepare and maintain accounts up to audit level, including monthly management accounts and full year returns. Monitor variances to budget and forecast, co-ordinate departmental returns and submit OEM composite reports monthly. Provide business partnering and robust information to the Heads of Business and departmental managers for your stores. Monitor and focus on working capital, including debt levels and overage stock. Manage the accounts administration function to ensure that all records comply with company and statutory requirements.

Previous experience of working within the automotive industry Be an experienced accountant, preferably with experience in the automotive industry Have a proven experience of supervising and leading an accounts department Be qualified by accreditation through a recognised accountancy body
