Debating Coach

to lead and develop our student debating team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of confident, articulate thinkers through engaging coaching and competitive opportunities.

About the role:

You will join on a casual contract for 2 hours a week.


As Debating Coach, you will:


Deliver weekly coaching sessions in British Parliamentary Style Support both beginners and experienced debaters Prepare students for competitions and provide tailored feedback Foster links with other schools to expand competitive opportunities Lead team selection and manage sign-ups for events Promote general knowledge and critical thinking through debate

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Proven success in debating competitions Strong knowledge of British Parliamentary debating Experience coaching students Minimum 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths)

Desirable:

Experience in national-level competitions Team England debating experience Understanding of safeguarding in educational settings
