Debt Caseworker (outreach)
Job Description
Are you passionate about helping people manage their finances and reduce debt?We are seeking a committed and experienced Outreach Debt Caseworker to join our Money Advice Team at York Citizens Advice.
In this vital role, you will:
Deliver comprehensive, client-focused debt management advice, covering several of our outreach locations across the city.
Manage a full caseload with professionalism and care.
Report to the Debt Team Manager and contribute to reporting for Citizens Advice and funders.
About You: To be successful in this role, you must have:
A minimum of 12 months' recent experience in providing debt advice.
Authorisation as a Debt Relief Order Intermediary is desirable.
We are looking for someone who is confident working independently and as part of a team, with a genuine commitment to improving lives through quality debt advice.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 27,938.09-29,648.85 per year
Work Location: In person
