Debt Recovery Agents

to join us on a self-employed, commission-based basis.

The Role

As a Debt Recovery Agent, you will be responsible for managing and recovering outstanding commercial debts on behalf of our clients. You will work remotely, handling allocated cases from initial contact through to resolution, following Recovia's compliant processes and scripts.

This role suits motivated individuals who are confident on the phone, organised, and capable of managing their own workload.

Key Responsibilities

Contact debtors via telephone, email, and written correspondence Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements professionally Secure full or agreed payments in line with client instructions Accurately update case notes and payment outcomes within our CRM Issue Letters Before Action where required Escalate cases appropriately when recovery is unsuccessful Adhere strictly to FCA guidance, GDPR, and Recovia compliance standards Represent Recovia professionally at all times

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Confident, professional telephone manner Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload High level of organisation and attention to detail Reliable internet connection and phone access UK-based and legally able to work as self-employed

Desirable (but not essential):

Previous experience in debt recovery, collections, sales, or enforcement Knowledge of commercial debt recovery processes Familiarity with CRM systems Understanding of FCA / compliance standards
Full training, scripts, and onboarding will be provided.
