Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Select appropriate materials and techniques for each project to achieve the desired finish. Communicate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and design options. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored safely. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled work.

Skills

Proficiency in painting techniques and knowledge of different types of paints and finishes. Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients and team members. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Capability to drive to multiple locations as needed for job assignments. Excellent time management skills to ensure projects are completed within deadlines.
