About The Role:

Job Specification:

The main purpose of the role is to clean all hi usage areas during the down time at night. Toilets, showers, offices, kitchenettes etc. within the factory and office areas.



This role involves very little machine work as the main machinery is used during the day. However, vacuum cleaners are essential.


The job holder will be responsible for working with another colleague and ensuring all facilities are clean and ready for use the following morning, when the day shift starts work.



You will be working on a 4 on, 4 off rotational shift pattern along with 3 other colleagues, whereby you work in pairs. Shift times are 8pm to 6am, 7 days a week based on the 4 on and 4 off shift pattern.

Role responsibilities and duties:

Ensure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards. Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly. Deal with any management requests promptly and courteously. Always maintain Health and Safety standards. PPE to be worn at all times.

To succeed in the role, you will need:

Ability to work quickly and to a tight schedule in a busy environment. Be punctual. To have a good attention to detail Able to multitask, be reliable and responsible Ability to carry and move cleaning equipment. Be able to communicate effectively with management and H&S team to report any safety issues. Basic English level (to be able to have a conversation and understand health and safety processes and procedures).

You will also need:

Right to Work in the UK Although driving license is not required for the role it would be beneficial due to the location of the site and reliability of public transport in the area.
