How will you make an impact?
The successful applicant will work within the deburring team removing burr from manufactured components in line with batch card & drawing requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Carry out Degrease process and visual process inspection
Carry out Descale process and visual process inspection according to process specification and work instructions
Carry out Paint process and visual process inspection according to process specification and work instructions
Carry out all process using Correct Personal Protective Equipment according to process specification and work instructions
Understand and be able to interpret engineering drawings.
Cover holidays and capacity issues with overtime when required.
Assist SQDCP boards daily when required.
Training new Employees to the required Standard when required.
Take extreme care and attention in handling aerospace parts.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
Carry out TPM checks and assist on machine maintenance when required
Support preventative actions and inform of any issues/problems to avoid production down time
Communicate with the rest of the department to ensure the cells is running efficiently
Experience, Knowledge and Education:
Experience working with chemicals (desirable)
Demonstrate a good level of numeracy/literacy (essential)
Experience in self-inspection (essential)
Be confident with organising work priorities (desirable)
A good understanding of Health & Safety (essential)
Experience within the Aerospace Industry (desirable)
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work alone or part of a small team (essential)
Ability to apply a great deal of attention to detail and accuracy for entry of data and generation of documentation (essential)
