Deli Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a full time member to join our team.
You must be flexible to work Monday - Sunday between the hours of 5.30am-3.30pm
No evenings are required
Your duties will include:
Preparing deli items to serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner providing an exceptional standard of customer care
Ensure products are served to customers in line with Food Hygiene Requirements
Work as part of a team to prepare, cook and display items for the deli counter and food to go options
Serve and assist customers at the deli counter.
Ensure the counter is merchandised to a high standard to maximise customer satisfaction
Be vigilant at all times to prevent stock loss and wastage
Ensure that you maintain high levels of health, safety and hygiene in carrying out your tasks.
Clean equipment, shelves, counters and floors during and at the end of your shift.
Check temperatures and maintain records in the deli area ensuring they are compliant with EHO/ HACCP regulations
Comply with relevant Company procedures around all foods including Fresh, Frozen and food storage.

Good team working skills Be motivated and enthusiastic Good customers service skills Previous experience in deli/food service (preferred but not essential as full training will be provided) High standard of cleanliness Fluent spoken and written English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
Work Location: In person
