The positions available are not suitable for students that require time off for summer, Easter and Christmas.

Holidays are not permitted during August, December and Easter holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble a variety of deli foods, including slicing meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches with precision and care. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and transaction management. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food handling duties including packaging, stocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of perishable items. Support quick service operations by bussing tables, managing food delivery to customers, and ensuring the restaurant area remains tidy and inviting. Manage cash register operations with accuracy using basic math skills for transactions and change dispersal. Uphold health standards through proper food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and safe food handling techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours while demonstrating excellent time management skills. Engage in sales activities by promoting specials or new products through effective upselling techniques to maximize revenue.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or a quick service/fast-food restaurant environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous but not mandatory--training will be available for all systems used. Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail settings will help you excel in this position. Basic math skills are essential for cash handling and retail math calculations related to sales transactions. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is highly valued. Restaurant experience including serving, bussing tables, or working in a cafe or grocery store environment will support your success here.
