Who we are;

We operate in the grocery sector under the SuperValu & Centra symbols, with Circle-K petrol pumps on the forecourt & have been serving our local community for over 30 years. We are opening a brand new, state of the art store

Wilson's Centra Carn

in the coming weeks. This store will have a key focus on Food to Go, so the deli will be fast paced and paramount to the success of the store.

What we're looking for;

Due to continued expansion & opening of the new store, we are looking for Deli Supervisors to lead our team at Wilson's Centra Carn. In this role, you will oversee Deli operations on a daily basis, ensuring that our standards for food quality and customer service are met while leading a team of 5-7 colleagues every shift.

The teams responsibility include serving customers over the hot & cold counters, as well as pre packing Dinners, Sandwiches, Wraps, Salads & much more for customers to purchase from our fridges. The cook will also report directly to you, they will be responsible for cooking the hot food and ensuring food safety HACCP guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency and high quality service. Manage 5-7 colleagues each shift Ensure your team (& you!) serve customers with a friendly smile Ensuring all displays are filled as needed and kept presentable at all times Overseeing the filling out HACCP (Food Safety) paperwork each shift Coordinate with other departments (Shop Floor & Butchery) to ensure efficient operations Keeping work areas clean and presentable with a full clean down at the end of each shift.

Desirable

Previously Supervisory or Managerial experience Experience working in a busy food / retail environment such as Deli, Chippy, Kitchen or Cafe Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Shift Pattern

Our Deli team work on a 4 work Cycle, so each team member will have

at least

2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays off, including a full weekend off, every 4 weeks

.

Shifts are between the hours of 6am-3:30pm, with no evening work required!
