Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and light food items. This role offers an engaging environment for individuals passionate about coffee, food safety, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those looking to develop their skills in the hospitality industry.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or pastries as required. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all aspects of work, adhering to health regulations. Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and processing payments using the till system. Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth service. Keep the work area clean and organised, including cleaning equipment and tables regularly. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner and addressing any queries or concerns promptly. Follow organisational procedures for cash handling, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards.

Skills

Proven

food safety

knowledge to ensure compliance with health regulations. Previous

barista experience

is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for those new to the role. Experience in

customers in a fast-paced environment with a focus on excellent service delivery. Competence in
