Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced City-to-City Driver to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience holding a full UK driving license and be comfortable with long-distance driving across cities.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods between cities according to scheduled routes and timings. Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of goods in accordance with company standards. Handle loading of items weighing 5kg or less; any items heavier than 5kg will be loaded by warehouse staff. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation. Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately to management. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Requirements:

Full UK driving license held for at least 2 years and age over 25. Proven experience in city-to-city driving or long-distance driving. Ability to work a fixed schedule: Monday to Saturday, 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM. Physically able to handle loading/unloading of items up to 5kg. Punctual, reliable, and able to work under minimal supervision. Good communication skills. Knowledge of UK traffic rules and safe driving practices. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.

Compensation:

Fixed salary (details to be discussed during the interview).

Additional Information:

Job start date: Immediate. Heavy loading over 5kg will be performed by warehouse staff. Travel is predominantly city-to-city; overnight stays may be required based on schedule.
