We are seeking a reliable and motivated

Van Driver

to join our team based at our Exeter depot. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone with a clean driving license who lives in close proximity to Sky Park or Exeter Airport.

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, in compliance with all road safety regulations Deliver goods to clients and customers sites and offices across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Bristol Handle multiple drop-offs and deliveries efficiently and safely. loading and unloading items, often involving heavy lifting Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle Communicate effectively with the office and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues Follow health and safety protocols at all times during transit and delivery processes Learn the basics of survey equipment and gain an understanding of the construction industry. Assist with cleaning and other office tasks when not on the road. Build and maintain strong relationships with regular customers and encourage new business opportunities.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role Valid driver's licence, drivers must be 25 or over for our insurance Ability to perform heavy lifting when required Reside near Sky Park / Exeter Airport. Strong work ethic and excellent people skills. Reliable, careful, and punctual. Flexibility to assist with office tasks as needed. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently Good knowledge of local roads and traffic laws Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks over extended periods
