Delivery And Collection Driver
Job Description
We are a small business on the Medway industrial estate, looking for someone who is self-employed that can collect and deliver work to dental practices in the Kent area. The hours are variable start time 10.00am, this will be a 2 day week starting Tuesdays and Thursdays, followed by a 3 day week being Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, following the same pattern each week after. These deliveries and collections can take around 2-4 hours a day.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver and collect packages from businesses
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections
- Complete necessary paperwork and log sheets accurately
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
We can provide a vehicle for these deliveries.
