Overview

TNF Installations is a fast growing small business and we need to recruit additional staff to meet our growing operations.
We are seeking a reliable honest and dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting White goods to various customer home addresses throughout the day, while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. All of our delivery crews consist of a Driver and Mate due to the nature of the goods we deliver so working as a team is essential to your success. If you have experience in commercial driving or White goods delivery and installation, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and Luton vans, in a safe and efficient manner. Load and unload goods, ensuring that all items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Navigate routes efficiently using maps or GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries. All routes are pre planned and experience of using handheld PDA is advantageous. Assist in Depot duties such as unloading trailer and loading vehicles Handle heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to avoid injury.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. experience delivering white goods to multiple customers is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is essential. Experience in warehouse operations or installation of white goods is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently. A valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle type is required. DBS check is standard as is completion of a company induction if successful.
