Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of chilled goods to various locations, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company standards. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and warehouse staff.

Job involves checking stock levels In shops and replenishing stock as required.

Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Ensure all deliveries are made safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-delivery vehicle checks to ensure the lorry is roadworthy and safe for operation. Load and unload goods, which may involve heavy lifting; ensure that all items are secured properly during transit. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork as required. . Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers during deliveries.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous , particularly in operating a 7.5 tonne vehicle. A valid commercial driving licence (C1) is required for this position. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is important for this role.
