Overview

We are seeking a professional 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining vehicle safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on reliability and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a 7.5-tonne lorry to deliver goods to designated destinations within scheduled timeframes Load and unload cargo, often involving heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety protocols Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of customer service Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during operations

Requirements

Proven delivery driver experience, preferably with commercial driving backgrounds Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience in warehouse operations or handling heavy loads is advantageous Strong communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during daily routes Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations relevant to commercial driving
