Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driving licence and experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is highly desirable.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting tasks. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record. Experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Familiarity with warehouse operations is an advantage. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
