Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our van team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and have the ability to navigate efficiently while ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role is vital in maintaining our reputation for excellent service and requires a keen attention to detail as well as adherence to safety regulations.
Duties
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Communicate effectively with store staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including unloading of stock .
Qualifications
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not essential. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with local roads and routes to optimise delivery efficiency. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
Work Location: In person
