We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely deliveries.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and other commercial driving vehicles. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies encountered. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly. Assist with warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.

Pay: 12.50-13.80 per hour
