Delivery Driver
Job Description
Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and packages to various locations efficiently and safely.
Duties:
- Safely drive a delivery van to transport goods between warehouses and customer locations
- Load and unload goods from the van, including heavy lifting when required
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the van is in good working condition
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and manoeuvre goods safely
- Commercial driving experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to interact with warehouse personnel and customers effectively
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
