Job Description

We are a small company that works for DPD Basingstoke.We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations. Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred.
