Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering medication to patients and collecting prescriptions from doctors surgeries while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent communication skills as well as good time management and attention to detail, making it essential for candidates to be physically fit and capable of managing the demands of the job. Duties

Operate delivery van in a safe and efficient manner. Safely deliver medication to patients following Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedure Follow delivery routes and schedules while adhering to traffic regulations. Communicate effectively with Pharmacy staff, GP surgery staff and customers regarding prescription deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar delivery role. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Good organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
