Delivery Driver - 3.5 ton

Starting salary 31,750 per annum.

33,500 per annum after 6 months' probation.

250 quarterly bonus scheme after 6 months' probation

1,000 Service Bonus after 3 years service.

Summary

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team at NHW Ltd. Based in Aston, Birmingham, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of food products to our valued customers. Your contributions will directly impact our reputation for excellent service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery van to transport food products to various locations. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage during transit. Communicate effectively with regular customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs. Completing paperwork and cash handling.

Hours & Shifts

Alternative 5/6 day week Every alternative Tuesdays off Must work every Saturday or Sunday 6:00am start for the first three months (training) then 7:30am start.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving preferred. Ability to lift heavy items up to 25kg safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Attention to detail . Reliable, honest and trustworthy
