Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations while ensuring the highest level of customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling of goods before delivery.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Valid driving licence with a clean driving. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices. Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial. Capability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
