Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport. Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies encountered during transport.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Familiarity with driving regulations and requirements is advantageous. Experience in commercial driving or operating larger vehicles is beneficial. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Background in warehouse operations is a plus, particularly in relation to loading and unloading procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members alike.
