Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of chemical products, cleaning solutions, and equipment to our customers, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with all relevant transport and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely load, transport, and deliver Chemsol Group products to customers across the UK. Ensure compliance with ADR (if required) and company procedures for handling hazardous goods. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues. Complete delivery paperwork, including proof of delivery and collection notes. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Chemsol Group professionally. Assist warehouse staff with loading/unloading when required. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines, including proper handling of chemical products. Support the wider operations team as needed.

Skills & Requirements

Full UK driving licence (essential). Previous experience as a delivery driver, ideally in the logistics or chemical distribution sector. ADR licence (preferred but not essential - training may be provided). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate documentation. Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting when required. Knowledge of UK road networks and basic vehicle maintenance.
