We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. Responsibilities

Drive a van or lorry to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Load and unload goods, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages encountered during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading of goods. Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial for efficient navigation. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.

Pay: From 15.55 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 50 per week
