We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Experience in warehouse operations and commercial driving is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting as required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and inventory counts. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including sorting and organising inventory.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. Must be at least 30 years old (to be insured on our vehicles) Previous experience in a delivery driver or warehouse role is an advantage. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Basic knowledge of commercial driving regulations is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
