Job Description



We are looking for a confident & reliable individual to work as a Delivery Driver, with the ability to deliver materials on 4.5T, 7.5T Tippers

The Job



- Daily safety checks on Lorries and reporting any defects to manager

- Driving a 7.5 T Tipper and a 4.5T Tipper

- Approximately 8-10 local deliveries per day

- Delivering to trade customers and the general public

- Delivering to a wide range of different sites, from tight country lands to big construction sites.

- Taking lorries for servicing, PMI & MOT when needed

- Keeping Lorries clean when all other jobs are done

Requirements



- Up to date driver CPC and digital tachograph card

- Experience using forklifts and telehandlers preferred

- Driving licence with no more than 3 points

- Over the age of 25 (for insurance purposes)

- Use of own transport due to location

The Right Candidate



- Reliable and punctual

- Self-motivated

- Physically able to lift heavy materials (cement, slabs, sleepers etc.)

- Polite and helpful to customers and staff

- The ability to work in a small team

Details



- Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm

- 4 weeks paid holiday plus all Bank Holidays (1 week to be taken between Christmas & New Year)

- Workplace pension's scheme offered

- 3 Months Probationary Period
