We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring that all deliveries are handled with care. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including stock management and organisation. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and carry out physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Previous experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is advantageous but not essential. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
