Duties

Drive a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling of all products. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including picking orders and preparing items for dispatch.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. knowledge of Edinburgh and east essential. Ability to lift heavy items regularly, as this role involves significant physical activity. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
