Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and navigate through different environments, including warehouses and urban settings.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is an advantage. Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial for efficient navigation. A proactive attitude towards safety and adherence to company policies is essential.
