Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. This position requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all road regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting when necessary. Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is essential; experience driving larger vehicles (e.g., commercial driving) is an advantage. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. A proactive attitude towards safety and adherence to all health regulations while on the road.
