We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and navigate various driving conditions. Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
Assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries, helping with inventory management and organisation of goods.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from clients during deliveries.
Experience
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols is essential.
Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous.
Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job is required.
A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type is essential; experience as a van driver is preferred.
