Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to join our growing renewables team in Skye. You'll be responsible for transporting solar panels, electric storage heater kits, and associated components to residential and commercial sites across the Highlands and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in supporting Scotland's transition to clean energy.

Key Responsibilities

Safely load, transport, and unload solar panels and electric heater kits Plan efficient delivery routes across Fort William and surrounding regions Handle goods with care to prevent damage during transit Communicate with site teams and customers to coordinate drop-offs Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs Adhere to all road safety and company protocols
Requirements

Valid UK driving licence (Category B) Proven experience in delivery driving or logistics (preferred) Physically fit and able to lift heavy items with proper technique Good time management and route planning skills Friendly, professional attitude with strong communication skills Knowledge of local geography and rural roads (a plus)
Desirable Extras

Experience handling fragile or high-value goods Basic understanding of solar energy or heating systems
