Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and efficient Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring timely deliveries. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring that all deliveries are made safely and efficiently.

Duties

Operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring safe handling and compliance with weight limits. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Assist with heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiar with London delivering is an advantage. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices. Experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. A valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being driven is essential. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
