We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate efficiently within designated routes. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and receipts. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and heavy lifting tasks.

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving is an advantage. Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate using GPS systems. Warehouse experience is beneficial for assisting with loading and unloading tasks. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members.
