Overview

Terra Firma Foods is seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team and deliver our products (top quality ingredients) to the best London Hotels and Restaurants The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently from our Park Royal depot to our London clients, while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle light, medium and heavy lifting. If you have experience in commercial driving, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to various locations (mainly Central London) Load and unload products, ensuring that items are secured and protected during transit. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and inventory logs. Assist in warehouse duties as required, including stock management and organisation of goods. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is required. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 15 kg) safely and efficiently. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
