One World Rental is a Global leader in the provisioning of Event Technology and on site event technology experience covering an extensive range of IT and technology equipment for Business and Corporate Events from Computers and Tablets to AV, WiFi and Staffing solutions.

One World Rental has a fantastic new Permanent opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join a thriving company with international offices.

Your duties will include:

Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods Pack and load products onto vans according to company's specifications Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes either locally or potentially inter-state Maintain ongoing communication with operations department Unload goods as per client specifications Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer Assist in the office with packing and preparing orders
Requirements:

Previous work experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role Over the age of 21 Held your Driving Licence for at least 1 year No more than 6 points on your driving licence. Able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test Able to clear a Basic Criminal Disclosure check Driving category B Good written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills and time-management Strong client-facing and teamwork skills Adaptable and calm under pressure Deliver a set number of parcels (all different shapes and sizes) from a pre-planned route to our customers. We are a customer centric company and its important that you adopt this ethos too. Always be friendly and helpful when delivering to our customers. There may be a possibility you will assist high-profile clients to a minimal scale on site so a can-do attitude is essential! Delivery drivers spend their days out on the road - so a passion for driving is ideal. Normal working hours are Mon-Fri, however, some weekend work will be required too and will be placed on a rota. In the post-pandemic era, the Event Industry needs incredible teams working 24/7, for this position you will join a dedicated team where working hours are shifts throughout the week (early start/early finish; late start/late finish) including weekends
