We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent service, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively while navigating various routes.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of products during transit.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Requirements
Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles is an advantage.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
