We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Duties

There will be a mix of some multi and single drops depending what we have on for the day. UK wide deliveries Combination of day and night shifts. Safely operate a delivery van and navigate designated routes to ensure timely deliveries. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage during transport. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers when needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies in orders. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Qualifications

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A proactive attitude towards safety and customer service is essential for success in this role.
