Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the delivery process.

Responsibilities

Drive a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured for transport. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service. Flexibility in working hours, including potential early starts or late finishes as required.

Pay: 160.00-164.00 per day
