Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation.

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles or commercial driving is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 kg) consistently throughout the day. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Familiarity with local roads and routes is beneficial. Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory. Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 36 per week
