Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining a high level of customer service. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly for transport. Plan delivery routes effectively to maximise efficiency and minimise delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure smooth operations during loading and unloading processes.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Valid driver's licence; experience driving larger vehicles is an advantage. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Strong driving skills with an emphasis on safety and efficiency. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial, particularly in loading and unloading goods.ce. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
