Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations with in the Highland region, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining a high standard of customer service. You will learn at least 3 different rounds which gives you variety with a great view from your window. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily operations.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures, using our App and documenting any discrepancies. Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members. A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
