RCM Deliveries Ltd is a family-run business and we are looking for drivers to join our team. We work in partnership with DPD and subcontract work through them and have done for 11 years. We are currently recruiting Self

Employed Courier Drivers for positions to work at DPD Edinburgh Newbridge on behalf of RCM Deliveries Ltd.

You will report to RCM Ltd in the morning and collect your parcels to be delivered in a set area in both residential and commercial properties.

You will use our van, which we will provide at no cost to you.

All fuel costs would be covered.

Training and uniform provided

The candidate we are looking for must be trustworthy, reliable and time conscious. We are looking for full time applicants. The work schedule is Sunday- Thursday .

What we are offering:

Drivers are paid on average 125 per day.
Four Weekly Pay
No Fuel Costs or van costs.
Route fully managed by experienced team leader to provide you with a supported start

Responsibilities Include:

Load van and deliver parcels. Driving, stepping in and out the vehicle safely.
Adhere to all safety regulations on the road
Greet and interact with customers in a friendly professional manner.
Ensure compliance measures are adhered to whilst delivering packages.

Requirements:

Must not have more than 6 points on driving licence
Recent Disclosure Scotland certificate

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage and delivery times. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from recipients. Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organisation.
