We are looking for a dependable and efficient Courier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and goods across the designated area, ensuring every delivery is completed accurately and on time. This position requires strong driving ability, excellent organisation, and effective communication with both customers and colleagues. As a Courier, you will contribute directly to upholding our company's reputation for fast, professional, and reliable service.

Responsibilities

Operate company delivery vehicles--such as vans and lorries--in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and safety guidelines. Plan and manage delivery routes to maximise efficiency and minimise fuel use. Collect parcels from the warehouse or assigned pick-up locations and ensure all items are loaded correctly. Deliver packages to customers promptly, confirming recipient information as needed. Record signatures or proof of delivery, keeping accurate and up-to-date documentation. Maintain regular communication with dispatch or customer service teams to report delivery progress or any issues. Assist with loading and unloading parcels, including items that require heavy lifting. Keep the delivery vehicle clean, tidy, and in good working condition. Report any vehicle faults or maintenance needs promptly to ensure safety and reliability.

Requirements

Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record. Knowledge of commercial driving practices and local road regulations. Experience working in a warehouse environment is beneficial. Ability to lift and handle heavy parcels safely. Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively. Professional communication skills when dealing with customers and team members. Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently. Physically fit to manage extended periods of driving and manual handling duties.
